During the school holidays, The Hills Shire Music School offers music workshops which are fun and a great way to get introduced to a new instrument.
All workshops are structured for beginner to intermediate students ages 5–12 years (kindergarten – yr6). Students will learn the basics of each instrument including the skills necessary for playing and performing songs. This includes music styles, melody and chord techniques as well as the basics of song writing and performance. They will learn how to play some easy and popular songs and will also learn how to play them together in a group. Students are invited to try the different instruments on offer on the day.
